The Journey To Healthy Hair Starts With A Healthy Scalp
step 1: consultation
Booking a consultation is the first step toward healthier hair and scalp. We offer two convenient options:
- A 15-minute complimentary consultation to discuss your hair goals and concerns.
- A comprehensive in-person assessment, including a detailed scalp and hair analysis.
During your full assessment at our Drumheller or Calgary trichology centre, our trichology practitioner will evaluate the condition of your hair and scalp by performing a thorough visual examination using a specialized micro-camera and UV light. After a robust testing process, your trichology specialist will examine the results and devise a custom treatment plan for your specific hair and scalp needs. In most cases your treatment process can include topical treatments, light therapy performed in-clinic as well as at-home, ultrasound therapy, scalp spa sessions, and/or other personalized remedies.
Consistency is key. Preventing hair loss and restoring natural hair takes time and dedication. There’s no quick fix, but targeted, consistent treatments give the best results. With expert care and state-of-the-art solutions, the Precision Beauty Creations team is here to support you every step of the way
step 2: treatments
Starting scalp therapy treatments can feel like a journey to rejuvenation. During this phase, the treatment removes scalp build-up, including scales, polymers, silicone, and oils. Clearing these impurities creates the perfect environment for new hair growth. Shedding during treatment occurs as telogen (resting) hairs are naturally “pushed out.” This process makes way for stronger, healthier hair to grow through. It’s a positive indication that your treatment is working effectively.
For those with scalp conditions, you might notice additional scaling in the first few months. This happens as treatments “lift” excess residue, leaving your scalp cleaner and healthier.
Consistency and trust are key in scalp therapy. While the process can involve initial shedding, the results are worth it. Over time, treatments restore balance, nourish your scalp, and promote vibrant, natural hair growth.
step 3: maintenance
Hair loss treatments vary based on the type and cause of your condition. For some, treatments may be temporary, while others may need ongoing care. Hair is one of the fastest-growing tissues in the body, but results take time. Patience is key, as every individual responds differently. For some clients, scalp ailments may resolve in as little as one month. Others with chronic conditions may require ongoing treatment cycles to maintain scalp health. Regular treatments can restore balance and promote healthier, stronger hair over time. Consistency and expert care are essential to achieving the best results. Our specialists are here to guide you every step of the way.
months 1-2
Hair and scalp health improve as early as the first two months of treatment. You may notice your hair feels more lively, with increased shine and fullness. A slight increase in shedding is also common during this phase. Don’t worry—this is a natural and temporary part of the process. Our treatments target your hair follicles, nourishing and stimulating new growth. As healthier hair grows, it naturally pushes out resting hairs, which can cause shedding. The new hair will be stronger, thicker, and healthier, giving your hair renewed vibrance over time.
month 4-6
By six months of consistent treatment, many clients begin to see noticeable hair growth. Results vary, but this is an exciting stage for most. New hair often starts as peach fuzz-like growth, gradually thickening over time. You’ll also notice existing hairs become thicker, shinier, and easier to manage. Consistency is key to achieving optimal results. Regular treatments help maintain progress and ensure sustained improvements. Underlying medical conditions may impact outcomes, so our specialists assess every case carefully.
months 11+
By this stage in your hair and scalp health journey, most clients see the full benefits of their treatments. These include:
- New hair growth and an overall thicker head of hair.
- A reduction or cessation of hair loss.
- Relief from scalp disorders like itching, flaking, or tightness.
- Healthier, stronger, and more manageable hair.
