How does Alma IQ work?
The Alma IQ device uses a combination of multi-spectral imaging and polarized light technology to capture high-resolution images of the skin through 10 special light filters.
These images are then analyzed by powerful algorithms to identify various skin conditions such as wrinkles, hydration levels, fine lines, age spots, enlarged pores, and uneven texture and pigmentation. This allows for personalized and perfectly targeted treatment plans with more effective and efficient results.

Alma Harmony ClearLift
Clearlift is a major advancement in skin-rejuvenating laser treatments, and it effectively refreshes the skin and smooths out fine lines and wrinkles with no lingering redness. Treatments are fast and virtually painless with visible results and no downtime.
Clearlift is designed to tighten skin and smooth lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, neck and chest to restore a youthful, healthy looking appearance. Specifically, Clearlift can treat cosmetic conditions including: fine facial lines such as crow’s feet around the eyes, wrinkles and loose skin around the jowls, neck and chest.
Clearlift is a fractional, non ablative laser that takes years off your face in just minutes. Clearlift works by remodeling the interior layers of the skin, leaving your epidermis intact and allowing healing to occur from the inside out. Although visible improvement may be noticeable after a single treatment, patients generally require three to five treatments for optimal results. Clearlift laser treatment offers a number of advantages over other laser resurfacing options.

Does it hurt?
ClearLift is non ablative – this means it does not heat or damage the outer layer of your skin, allowing you to resume your normal daily routine immediately! There is no residual skin redness or swelling after treatment.
ClearLift treatments are virtually painless, and there is no downtime. ClearLift treatments are quick and easy, typically taking only around 20-30 minutes with no numbing required.
How is Alma ClearLift different from other laser treatments?
Alma Lasers ClearLift is a state of the art, non-ablative treatment alternative to traditional skin resurfacing. This means it is is gentle enough to treat areas that are typically too sensitive to treat with traditional ablative lasers, such as the delicate skin around the eyes, mouth, neck and chest, which tend to show the first signs of aging and are prone to scarring from harsher laser treatments.
Alma Lasers ClearLift heats deep beneath the skin up to 3mm deep, no numbing is required prior to treatment and all skin healing happens without damaging the outer layers of skin. Alma Lasers ClearLift delivers controlled dermal wounds without harming the overlying epidermis so that all stages of healing and skin repair occur under the intact epidermis. This allows for treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, the appearance of small veins and redness caused by vascularity in delicate areas with no downtime while still achieving incredible results..
How many treatments are required?
3-5 treatments are recommended with Alma Lasers ClearLift to see optimal results; treatments are typically once every 3-4 weeks.
In some cases, results can be noticeable after 1 treatment. The skin’s appearance continues to improve after each session with optimal results in as little as 3-6 months.
What skin types can be treated with ClearLift?
The Q-Switched laser module is indicated for use on all skin types (Fitzpatrick I-VI) including tanned skin.
IPL/Dye VL Photofacial
IPL Photofacial (also known as Intense Pulsed Light or Photorejuvenation) is hailed as the “Gold Standard” treatment for the reduction of pigmentation.
Age spots, sun damage, rosacea, broken capillaries and freckles can create a dull and aged complexion. With IPL you can target this pigmentation to expose fresher, younger looking skin – something we all strive for!
Dye VL facial uses AFT (advanced fluorescence technology) which is exclusive to Alma lasers. It is an advanced system of intense pulsed light (IPL) that is safe enough for use on all body areas. It can successfully treat melasma, freckles, age spots, irregular pigmentation, rosacea, facial spider veins, among other skin conditions.
During this facial, a gel is applied over the skin to receive the pulses of light. The Dye VL uses light energy to target and break down the discoloured pigmented areas of the skin. Areas of pigmentation will become darker post-treatment and begin to clear, leaving a more even skin tone after a few days

Does it hurt?
There will be little or no pain associated with your Dye VL treatment and numbing is not required.
How does IPL/Dye VL work?
The heat created by Dye VL pro damages the vessel or pigmented spots, and the body begins its natural healing process, resulting in rejuvenation of the skin. Pulsed light is able to penetrate into the sub-surface skin layers without damaging the skin and then absorbed by the blood vessels or pigmentation spots. The pigmented areas will become darker initially and then flake off or be absorbed by the body. Overall, skin tone is improved dramatically resulting in a smoother texture, even skin tone, younger and more attractive skin
How many treatments are required?
General recommendations are for 3-5 treatments, with intervals of 3-4 weeks between sessions. The exact number of treatments and the specific treatment plan will depend on the individual’s condition and desired results. After initial treatments, we advise once yearly treatments to maintain results.
Who is a good candidate to be treated with IPL/Dye VL
While traditional IPL is not safe for dark skin tones, the IPL/Dye VL treatment offered with the Alma Harmony system is safe for all skin types.
IPL/Dye VL laser treatments are not intended for patients who have vitiligo, cancer, active herpes, or are on therapies using photosensitizing drugs. It is not suitable for pregnant or nursing women, or people with epilepsy or active infections.
